SlopeStyle Transfers specialises in providing only luxury private airport transfers to the ski resorts of the French Alps.  It is a French registered business located in the Three Vallees ski domain in Savoie region of France.

Our Mission is simply to provide a FIRST CLASS prestige transfer service. From airports, hotels or private residence, to and from the ski resorts of the French Alpes. In all cases offering a more relaxed, more comfortable and truly luxurious experience.

Strategically Located for Private Airport Transfers

Strategically situated close to Chambéry airport, half way between the major ski resorts and Geneva, Grenoble and Lyon airports. We are ideally located to offer a reliable transport service to any of the regional ski destinations. Located in the valley and generally less affected by the often stormy mountain weather which sometimes causes delays for resort based transfer companies.  Based close to the Tarentaise valley, therefore ideally located to service the 3 Vallées resorts of Courchevel, Méribel, Val Thorens and the Haute Tarentaise valley resorts of Val d’Isére, Tignes, Les Arcs, La Rosière and La Plagne.  We also go further a field to Megève and the Haute Savoie resorts, such as Morzine, Chamonix and to the south of the region servicing Les Deux Alpes and Alpe d’Huez.

We appreciate that travelling from airports to ski resorts is not the most enjoyable experience, so we aim to offer our clients a more comfortable, more relaxing, and therefore more enjoyable transfer experience. The added luxury and comfort of the Mercedes V Class simply offers a more pleasant journey. A prestige airport transfer in comfort, particularly when it can often take more than three hours travelling to some ski resorts due  to the adverse winter weather conditions and/or traffic congestion during peak winter season.

Our prestige transfer service is available to anyone wishing to travel to the Savoie and Haute Savoie regional ski resort or any regional destination. 

We are registered with the Swiss authorities and authorised to operate from Geneva airport and in the Geneva Canton. Our drivers hold valid Medical Examination Certificates for commercial driving with more than 20 years driving experience in the French Alps. Therefore very familiar with the mountain roads and local routes to the various airports in the locality.

Our service provides reliable and professional luxury transport from various locations in addition to Geneva airport, Lyon airport (including Lyon-Bron Private Jet Terminal), Grenoble and Chambéry airports (including private Jet terminal), hotels and regional train stations.

Also providing bespoke executive transport services which includes private hire and premium luxury transport service for those traveling to and from unique locations.

Our Environmental Challenge

We genuinely recognise the effect on the environment that motorised vehicles have. However people still need to travel from A to B.  Until the automotive manufacturers can provide a cleaner and more environmentally friendly means of propulsion for commercial vehicles, we are limited to the type and engine design currently available for commercial passenger carrying vehicles.

We aim to be one of the first transfer companies to adopt the new electrical hybrid powered commercial passenger vehicles in the near future, however until that becomes available in four wheel drive, we have a limited choice. So we try our best to reduce emissions where possible to minimise the affect on the precious alpine environment.

With this in mind we aim to operate our transfer business with respect to environment, minimising our impact and reducing our carbon footprint where possible. We regularly service our vehicles not only to maintain safety, but also to optimise engine efficiency and minimise pollution.

We achieve a degree of carbon reduction by initially choosing the Mercedes V Class model with the Bluetech engine technology which reduces output of harmful emissions and a model that provides the best power to weight ration and fuel consumption statistics.

By continuously monitoring fuel consumption and driving in a responsible, safe and consistent manner, we genuinely attempt to reduce fuel consumption and therefore reduce output of harmful emissions.

By choosing premium brand low rolling resistant tyres, although more expensive, does achieve a reduction in fuel consumption and tyre wear, as does regular checks to ensure the tyres are maintained at the recommended air pressure to ensure maximum efficiency, under inflated tyres increase fuel consumption.

We drive our vehicles in a manner that minimises emission output using the Mercedes “Eco mode” to maximise fuel efficiency combined with the “Stop/Start” engine feature when the vehicle is at a standstill, such as at traffic lights or when the vehicle is stationary in traffic.

We avoid unnecessary heavy braking ensuring we use engine braking to maximise efficiency when possible to slow the vehicle without compromising safety in order to reduce brake wear (heavy braking results in more emission of toxic brake dust particles).

At all times avoiding erratic acceleration, unnecessary heavy braking and generally ensuring we drive in a consistent, safe and economical manner.
