Courchevel airport transfers are approximately two and half hours drive from Geneva airport or Lyon airport. Courchevel is part of the commune of Saint-Bon-Tarentaise, situated in the Tarentaise Valley.

The resort dates back to the 1940’s and was progressively developed over the years into one of the most prestigious resorts in the Savoie region.

The resort area of Le Praz (1300m) was originally developed to host the 1992 Winter Olympic ski jumping competitions. It has been extensively developed over the years offering a range of accommodation from small apartments to large chalets.  Le Praz is linked with the town of La Tania, a resort originally developed to provide accommodation for competitors fo the 1992 winter games.

Courchevel is provided with effective transport links with local shuttle buses frequently running between the various resort areas. There are effective rail link thanks to the TGV station at Moutiers. Popular airport transfers from Geneva airport, Chambery airport, Grenoble airport and Lyon-Saint-Exupery airport.

General information

By taking Les 3 Vallées ski pass you can ski the entire Three Valley range which offers a potential of 600km of pistes (the largest in the world).

Starting from Courchevel you can connect to Meribel, Les Menuires, Val Thorens and even Saint-Martin-de-Belleville for an adventurous day of skiing. Just keep an eye on the time to ensure you can make it back to Courchevel before the lifts close!

We can provide bespoke travel from the resort of Courchevel should you wish to visit another area during the week.  Another interesting resort to visit close by could be Plan-Peisy or Peisey-Vallandry. About a 1 hour drive away from Courchevel. From here one can to take the Peisey or Vallandry ski lifts to enjoy the Peisey-Vallandry ski area which links with the resort of Les Arcs via the Vanoise express cable car.

Experience the Vanoise Express which is the largest cable car in Europe, to transport you over the valley departing from Peisey-Vallandry linking to La Plagne ski domain.
