Grenoble – Courchevel

Grenoble – Courchevel

We will meet you at the arrivals hall of the small single airport terminal. We send a confirmation text which will include the drivers personal mobile telephone number to enable you to contact them by phone.

Our smartly dressed uniformed driver will be ready waiting for you at the arrivals hall holding either a SlopeStyle Transfer logo board or an iPad with the clients name on it.  We strongly suggest that passengers take the opportunity to visit the rest rooms prior to embarking the transfer vehicle as there are limited amenities en route for at least on hour until transiting the town of Chambery.

The average transfer time is approximately 2 hours 45 mins depending on weather and traffic conditions.

After a 1 hour motorway (A48 then A43 Autoroutes) journey from Grenoble airport to the Chambéry, the route bye-passes the Savoie town of Chambéry, commonly known as “The Heart of Savoie”. Then following a scenic route (during daylight) via motorway down the Combe de Savoie valley with the dramatic mountains of the Réserve National de Chasse des Bauges on your left as the route heads toward Albertville, the former host town to the 1992 Winter Olympics.  After passing Albertville the route takes the national road N90 towards Moutiers where ofter the traffic slows dramatically as this is the main route into the Tarentaise and Three Valleys regions. On passing Moutiers the route then begins the climb up the mountain roads to the Courchevel resort villages, normally taking around 30 minutes.
